I really enjoyed how this movie didn't give away everything all at once. It's a unique trait in this day and age to just throw the audience into the story and let them learn what's happening as the movie goes on. All in all, the uncomfortable feeling of an impending--though uncertain--doom was well crafted. The change in pace as time narrows lead up to the climax well. There's not many Holiday horror movies that aren't cheap monsters or slashers. |
